Daniel Hearn

Vocals, Keyboard Instructor, Boys Counselor

Daniel is a classically trained composer and pianist and a self taught keyboardist, guitarist, and singer/songwriter. He has played keyboards with the Atlanta Rock n’ Roll Allstars and Chelsea Shag, sung in Andrea Bocelli’s backing choir, and regularly performs original music and covers as a soloist around Atlanta. He has a degree in Audio Engineering from Georgia State University, and is in his 2nd year of training to teach the Alexander Technique, which is a self-applied psychosomatic therapy based on mindfulness and body awareness. He has been teaching piano, ukulele, guitar, voice, and mandolin lessons to students of all ages since 2015. His teaching approach is based on providing an environment where students are free to ask questions, make mistakes, learn what they like to listen to and express a full spectrum of emotions through their own music, as well as the understanding that having fun is more important than having chops. (Having fun is the only way to get chops)
